A. No. Undergroundfilm.com does not charge filmmakers to show their work to the public.

Q. Can anyone submit work to Undergroundfilm.com?

A. Yes. We are an open forum.

Q. If I submit a film does that mean it will definitely be shown on Undergroundfilm.com?

A. Most likely. Here's a short list of what we won't accept:

No home movies.
No works that are patently obscene.
No films that are gratuitous in length.
No films that infringe on others' copyrights.
(i.e. You must have all the rights to (or written permission for) the music on your sound track.)

Q. What if I change my mind about showing my film on Undergroundfilm.com?

A. If at any time, you change your mind and want us to stop exhibiting your film, send us an email or written request and we'll take your film off Undergroundfilm. The full details of our submission agreement are here.

A. Everything. We are creating opportunities on Undergroundfilm.com. We are offering you the chance to show and sell the world your work, and we mean the world. People from Boise to Beijing will be able to enjoy the fruits of your labor.

Q. Do I have to use Real Player to watch movies?

A. No. We're using QuickTime to encode and deliver our movies. It's what media professionals use to edit their films, and that's good enough for us.

Q. What happens to my film?

A. When we receive your film, we will watch it, categorize it and digitally encode it before putting it up on Undergroundfilm.com. Also, we will create discussion forums and surveys that YOU CONTROL. You write the questions. We'll deliver the answers.

Q. What if I change my mind about showing my film on Undergroundfilm.com?

A. If you change your mind, send us an email or written request and we'll take you film off Undergroundfilm.com.

Q. Can someone "steal" my movie?

A. The likelihood of someone stealing your film and claiming it as their own is very slim, HOWEVER, we will make sure that each film we put up will have a digital "watermark" to discourage illegal copying, rendering each film traceable to Undergroundfilm.com. (Watch one of our movies for an example of Undergroundfilm.com's "watermarking.")
