Student Academy Award Winner!

Follows the lives of three girls living in the slums of Dhaka,Bangladesh. The first girl, Labli, is 7 years old and stays home to take care of her younger sisters. The second girl, Julie, is 14 and worked 12-hour days at a garment factory 7 days a week for less than $13 per month. The last girl, Ruba, is 16 and getting married to her 30 year old cousin against her wishes. Three Beauties focuses on how these girls from the slums fall into lives tarnished by poverty, corruption, and unjust social practices.

Using theory from the class, I set out to contrast the sacred and profane, entirely Under One Roof (all in the same building,) in Christ Church Cathedral.
