BLOW

A terrible death machine imposes its law crushing everything it meets. It is a real living thing ridden by a fat War Lord. Many branching arms move the machine. A clever game of light and shadow discloses walls and buildings of a frightened city apparently uninhabited. The fat powerful man terrifies the city while windows close, black vultures drop their contents of death from the sky and explosions from the buildings follow one after the other. The Lord of War walks triumphantly, nobody can resist him. But something slips away, not everything is under control. A young boy attacks frontally. C

Yodeling

I had to do a Stop Motion project for a class and decided to animate a little song i found really funny. It was a yodeling song. I came up with the characters for the animation and made them also. Each one of them had 8 mouths. Both of them could move their head and arms but they were not made for walking :P.
The concept of the two mountains coming closer together its because many years ago, people from different villages communicated with eachother by yodelling from mountain to mountain.

Phoenix

An immortal, wondering in what corner the death can be waiting for him, enters into a playful universe governed for loops that extend his search infinitely and mislead him in the blurry border between the reality and the virtuality. / Based and inspired by extracts of Jean-Louis Comolli's texts and the poem " Melanc?lico af?n " by Ana Weyland

The Night the Whole World Caught on Fire

This lovely music video is an abstract setting of the eponymous song by The Feverfew. The visual design, more or less steady throughout, is an 8 by 8 grid of identical images, created from footage of a single flame, and reflected symmetrically within each square of the grid. The image of the flame has been drastically slowed down, so that it changes in time with the underlying pulse of the music. It has also been softened, making it resemble a charcoal drawing. The result is a fairly abstract image which nevertheless maintains the essential feeling of a flame, married to the rhythm of the song

The song, a re-mix of the band/performance-art-entourage Fleshtone's electro-sexual dance-freak-out, has been motivating audiences in the northwest to dance like goats for a while now, but the song is just the beginning.

I finally came to the realization that incomplete thoughts are the way of the world. They are way more intriguing and stimulating to the senses. If it's all there, one big mass of completion right in front of your face, what's left to learn, accomplish, see and experience? It makes sense to me, but it still doesn't make me feel any better.

The detective gets out the car and makes his way into the crime scene looking for him. Inside the crime scene, he finds all sort of things that make this place look more like a nightmare, instead of a crime scene.

Try To Think is a short audio-visual experiment. The composition is not about telling a story in the traditional sense but rather to set the audience in a certain mood. The mood of the present time and the world we live in. It's recommended to watch this piece more than once.

Satisfaction is a music video shot on 16mm for a band called (oddly enough) Satisfaction. The music video intercuts, the life of a sad sack looking for a way out of his boring life, and the band, Satisfaction playing their song, "Nothing, oh Nothing". The sad guy stumbles on Satisfaction's rehersal space, and the band tries to help the guy out of his depression. Comedy ensues.

Cross Contours (2005) explores a variety of nearly identifiable icons and images and develops numerous associations among them. Though never crossing the line into the purely representational, it attempts to stimulate references and mappings in the viewer. The work is (loosely) in three sections, with each retaining the same color space despite the appearance of new or transformed objects and forms. The music adds an affective layer and helps control the work???s dramatic development.

All images in Cross Contours were created using the Cinema 4D animation software, while the musical element

A controversial limb-lengthing operation has garnered media attention in recent years for its extremely gruelling procedure and aftercare that some feel does not merit the few inches taller it can make a person. In this project, we explore the case of one subject who, while lacking in stature, is a giant when it comes to personal resolve - or so it seems upon first glance...when looked at more in depth, the hero seems to be an object of distaste and anger among the general public...but why?

Back in 2004/05, my friends, Tom Hubbard-Green and Morgan Williams, and I were in a band together called "The Cheese On Toast Mystery". We played small local venues and friends' parties, and we all loved performing live so much that it was rare for us to pass up the opportunity of a gig. So when Tom, the guitarist in the band, saw that his school, Dulwich College, were hosting a "Jazz Nite", he put us down for it. However, closer to the time, we realised that, as a metal/hardcore band prone to beatdowns and blood-curdling screams, we had absolutely no appropriate material for an event organise

The Escape (Chinese Requiem)

'The Escape (Chinese Requiem)' is a thought about what China is becoming in the beginning of this new century, about the distance which still separes a young occidental guy from a totally different culture, about the fact that a photo alone can't express anything but a clich?. And it's a work about what photo really is, for me, a way to give to your own life new dimensions, a way to tell stories, and, maybe, to find the sublime in it.
It's the story of a young man leaving his oversaturated urban european life to build something completely new in a country he doesn't know. But there in China,

Disco

Disco is about a guy's escape from something we don't know, but most of us can imagine. The basic motivation when one has a problem or fear is the runaway emotion. The film tries to express how emotions and physical activity interact during the action. When your soul is in struggle, you don't feel the physical part of life. We see the character from many angles, but we still feel as we were him at the same time.
The music, the special effects, the industrial locations and the editing style help the viewer experience the escape.
At the end we don't know, if running away was a sollution at all

This is not one of my best films it actually is one f my least favorites. I Shot this over a few day with no real plans in mind.
